He has been in the Mining Industry for over 17 years with experience encompassing a solid technical expertise in Flotation Technologies, Process Engineering and production, Mineral Processing, Process Design, Business Administration, Operation Management and Due Diligence studies on major Gold, PGM, Rare Earth Metal, Base Metal and industrial minerals. He has over seen operations in Africa, South America (Chile, Mexico, Peru), North America (USA and Canada), Europe (Turkey, Russia, Belgium, France) and Australia (Perth and Sydney). He has had Leadership positions in the Process/Project Engineering field, Research and Development, Mineral Processing and Production. On an academic level he was Senior Lecturer (Mineral Processing-Projects) at the University of the Witwatersrand, University of Pretoria and University of Johannesburg).

Dr. Henk has extensive experience spanning 15 years in Executive management and directorships. His experience margins range in bottom line responsibilities within companies that have turnovers of multi- million rands per annum and staff complements ranging between 450 and 1000 employees. He has 20 years’ experience as a Mechanical & Industrial Engineer in the precision manufacturing environment in South Africa and with the Boeing Aircraft Company in Seattle, Washington. His experience covers all the fields of the manufacturing environment (castings, forgings, machining, heat treatment and sheet metal work) and the management of several manufacturing facilities.
Mining and Refining
Process Plant Project Work for international process engineering company includes business development and studies, plant designs and construction for a variety of minerals, base metals and precious metals projects in Africa. Work was done on new mines and plants as well as brown field's projects.
